They made a calendar out of children's drawings, and sent it out to anybody who wanted one, free of charge.

So naturally I made good use of it.

Was the dunny an accident brown spot before introduction of the speed awareness scheme ?

Has it reduced skid marks at the site ?

There have probably been less "brown trouser" moments.

Yeah, brainwashing or what? By the time they're old enough to drive they won't have the slightest interest in 'real' cars.

May be we should all send off for a free calendar, that way we would be taking money out of their accounts and reducing their propaganda expenditure...anyone up for it?

Sadly true - I've overheard kids talking about carbon emissions and mpg figures - WTF happened to Top Trumps???

Top trumps......ahhh the good old days... I used to have Dragsters, Tractors and now my mate has donated his battery of them to the local pub. You can go and compare a Unimog to a Niva in my local!

The traitors are the bloody teachers, in my staff room you hear about the hydrogen cells and electric cars and how we should all use bicycles. It makes my blood boil. I taught a lesson the other day about alternative energy the students walked out of there having decided themselves that wind turbines were a load of wank, hydrogen was best suited to running an Otto Cycle engine and the way to go was nuclear as we needed to conserve our oil reserves for petrol pleasure.

Ah yes, regression to the mean.

One shit a day for months on end, then have a dodgy curry, six shits in one day, fit speed camera loo paper, back to one shit a day, proves the measures have worked and reduced the number of shits.

It is your duty to post the used bog roll to Mr Ladyman , Minister for Transport or Road Safety (?)..... as part of a relevant piece of statistical analysis refuting the effectiveness of speed cameras .

Funny how 'hypothecation' (process by which fines get turned into more cameras) made 100% perfect sense to them until last week, now they're suddenly decided to change it.

Seems that cameras were effectively free to Councils, whilst other forms of road safety had to be paid for... hmm.

Still, they've got all the cameras they need now, so can backpedal from the cooked stats.
