Hmmm, why do all my thread titles have the word 'help' in them?

Right, I have a new doris on board the good ship King Richard. I'm after a couple of idea's for a small present.

I've only known her a week so I don't want to go overboard, up to about £30ish would be good as she's told me I have a present coming as well

If possible I would like to steer clear of perfume/chocolates/flowers etc. and think of something different.

She likes travelling and has been to Austria and Australia this year. She has a little fiesta thats a heap, and has a slow puncture! She's a bit of an old skool clubber and loves Mk 2 Escorts...

I was thinking maybe a can of tyre weld and a coat for when she breaks down

Any ideas guys? I expect this to be a slow thread

Mrs Puggit and I had the same problem a few years back, a week in to the relationship before Xmas arrived.

I bought her a shower radio in the shape of a penguin (she's a big penguin fan) and she bought me a radio controlled Pug!

Yeah its a shit!

Was thinking about some cool jewellery, she wears kind of understated stuff anyway... so maybe some nice little earings...

Or maybe a windscreen sticker that says KingRichard/Mrs KingRichard?

Reckon it'll look at home on a 'scort

edited because I used the word 'ickle'

Blimey, give it a while... She'll be hooked on PH soon, when I've found the right time to talk of my addiction

there is no need for the woman in your life to be aware of your PH alter-ego.

no offence to any ladies present but this site is almost like a gentlemans club where one can call in of an evening for a nice port, cigar, sit by a roaring fire in a leather wingback chair and talk nonsense with like minded souls.

Cossie.

They're already struggling with ideas for their own wives/girlfriends never mind yours! Still, you've plenty of time so put your feet up today and forget all about it, then go for the kill tomorrow with the rest of the male population who will be desperately hunting down last minute presents.

It certainly is, I have bought 'jokey' stuff for Toppers, although Halfords have run out of the 'Go Faster Strips' I wanted to get for the Tuscan

Jewelery is a good idea ie earings or a necklace, steer clear of perfume etc, as i doubt you know her well enough to know what she wears/likes.

Too late... She fixed it last night in the freezing cold

Disclaimer: had KingRichard been on hand, I gladly would have done it for her...

Just in case I get a slating

Thats it... sensible suggestions
So jewelery can't really be bad then? Don't get me wrong, I just want a little gift... I think she might be a bit worried if I was buying diamonds

The very idea of the viper stripes on the tuscan

Maybe they have 'motorsport' sun strips left in stock?

I'd keep it simple, jewellery is always appreciated and an easy option especially for the 30 quid mark. Could get a jokey cuddly toy type thing, maybe a kangaroo or a skier or a nodding dog for her motor(nice).

Ooh, great thinking...

She had millions of roo pics from australia, she really likes them. I wonder if the bear factory do one?
