Last year I decided that I was going to join a gym and be less stressed about work. Well, I joined a gym in February and became chilled out but then got fed up with the place in August and now feel guilty because I am still paying my membership!! So next year I am going to try and get back into going to the gym. As for work, well sometimes I do better than others. That's life I suppose. So what are all you PH'ers going to resolve to do - or not to do in 2006.

Not to take on more work that I can cope with in 2006 as I have in 2005, leading to me working my Christmas holiday to catch up.

To tell my wife every day that I love her and how pretty she is.

Can't remember if I had one, haven't thought of one for next year either. Hmmm, maybe my new year's resolution should be to talk about cars less often.

Last year my news years resolution was to not make promises to myself that I don't intend to keep to.

its going quite well, I might do that again.

Only one I've ever made was 2 years ago - to stop smoking. Still haven't had one yet.

i don't do new years resolutions, but i do like to use NYD to contemplate what i'll know/ find out in the next year, eg - by next year i'll know who won the world cup, whether button won a race, i'll get to meet my new child, whether i'll win a race etc etc.

i find it much more interesting than having a resolution

To all of you who gave up smoking - well done!!! I have never smoked but imagine it must be hell. For me I suppose it would be like giving up chocolate - let's not go there. Tried it once for Lent but the girls at work made me promise to eat some as I was hell to work with.

Aiming to lose another 3 stone. Lost about one and a half so far and reduced my body fat %age too.

Aiming for 17 stone as this was my old playing weight-I was only about 12% body fat then, so I was fairly large.

Going to try to give up the fags as well
