Once again these 35 holiday days a a year, work shy "workers" have mucked up 10million peoples lives.
Can't be bothered to work so go on strike again, want a day off? go on strike, want a pay rise.. go on strike.

Bring back Thatcher and strike breakers, a swift batton round the head is what these lazy s0ds need.
As you may have guessed I am one of the millions of people that has to now rethink NYE so this lot can have yet another day off. Time to join a trade union I feel.....

If i worked on the underground i'd be very nervous going back to work the day after a strike. How to make yourself unpopular whilst outnumbered by your enemy in a confined space, step 1.

Apparently (so I heard on the radio earlier), they are actually striking over something they AGREED to in the last round of talks that averted the last round of strikes.

Unbelievable.

Shower of shit. Roll on driverless trains. Put these bastards out to graze.

As with all nationalised industries it is run for the benefit of the workers.

We are supposed to abandon our cars and rely on these work shy parasites?, don't make me laugh.

That's easy: they all go and hide in the offices and tea break rooms, just as they do whenever there's a problem with the service.

If we sneak in before tehy shut the stations, maybe we could drive the trains ourselves and make a shedload of cash running the tube over new year.

someone earlier mentioned driverless trains. Why dont we? safer, more reliable, and the cost savings (once installed) can mean more money going into track repairs, which the drivers can re-trian for so no redundacnies. perfect!

Any of our resident socialists want to show some support for the work fearing carbon dumps?

Come on blame it all on Thatcher.

Because it takes away jobs.

BTW: Did you ever see that documentary on the contractors who repaired the tube lines? Dear god, no point pumping more money into that bottomless pit!

Sorry Rich, can't comment....I know nothing of the dispute....I couldn't possibly win against all you experts out there. The last I heard was something about "safety" issues. If that's true....let me ask you if you would knowingly break health & safety regulations and stick YOUR neck on the line should something go wrong and you just KNOW that your employer will deny all knowledge and you get stuffed with manslaughter?.....

Well as a member of the RMT myself I usually back fellow 'brothers' over these matters. But oh dear this really is just a big fiddle really isnt it? Striking over new years eve? Hmmm nothing to do with the fact that they all just want to go on the p*ss Bob Crow is nothing but a joke not even an embarasment, striking at this time is so damn cynical it will lose any respect the workers may have had from the public. Mind you Crow isnt all bad he did tell Bliar and nu labia where to go and booted faty 2 jags out of a grace and favour apartment in a nice part of town provided at great expense by its members a few years ago.

Oh and dont even think of acusing me of being even slightly left wing

I won't ....(I promise) .....But!...Just WHAT IS it all about. I confess I've not read the "Daily Comic" right wing revue on the subject or anything. London is so far from me that anything that happens there is an irrelevence. I've only caught disconnected sentances on Radio 5 and the TV news....Something about moving staff and "proper staffing" or something.....

Cut them free along with the union, you will be able to employ most of them unionless and at a better rate after a few weeks in the cold. Alternatively hire some foreigners to run the services and just not re-employ any of them?
