Not taking anything away from Craig's acting potential, but he just doesn't seem the part. I will reserve judgement, but I can almost see the headlines from the media if the movie tanks:

I think Craig could be good.

He was excellent in Layer Cake - and showed some of that swaggering self confidence the role demands.

The new Bond film HAS to be better than the last one - which was truly awful IMO.

They need to give Bond some edge, make it all a bit darker IMO. If they can do that while also maintaining the glamour and sense of fun ( hard I know ) then the franchise has hope yet.
