He is playing his X-BOX driving game on our tele with the cinema sound on while I write this - and he is so absorbed "into" it that he is swearing at other drivers to get out of the way! Virtual road rage no less!

sounds like me - I have even found myself raising a middle digit having scraped past someone who had been blocking me - sad I know, but good job the wife wasn't walking into the room at the time!

Looks like he managed to crash the settee while we were out shopping looking at the state of the living room!

Is he using teamspeak? i.e. talking to the other players online using a headset?

Things can get a bit intense playing IL2FB or PF online and your trying to limp home in what's left of your sieve-like B-17, desperately hugging the ground with 5 109s on your tail trying to finish you off, throttle firewalled and running fullboost as you ignore the overheating and your screaming for some fighter escorts to save you whilst you desperately try to make it across friendly lines. Sometimes things get a bit too real in your mind and you find yourself sweating and shaking after a mission thanks to large doses of adrenaline. If thats how bad it is for just a computer game I can't imagine how it must have been in real life!
