Google Videos won't play on PC!! please help!

My computer (a desktop DELL Dimension) runs XP well, and has quite a bit of power. I've got Flashplayer 8 installed, latest version of media player, and real player, have enabled cookies, but still the screen is blank. Videos in every other part of the net work well. I just can't figure it out (even though I'm sort of a computer buff

Any help of suggestions would be very much appreciated!

I had WMP video problems in the past that were cured by uninstalling a codec pack, worth a try if you have any non-standard codecs installed?

There is an app called "gspot" that will tell you which codec a file needs to be viewed.
If you google "gspot codec" you should easily find it

Alternatively download the "All in 1 codec pack" from www.free-codecs.com
