Before I begin apologises for the strange thread!

I'm trying to track down some brackets that hold up one of the curtains rails in our house. My brother who was drunk on New Years Eve managed to break a few of them!

Unfortunatly they have been discontinued! (Typical).

Does any one have any lying around that I could buy off them? They are called - Swish Sologlyde Dovetail and look like this:

Many Thanks!

Phill

Try a small fabric/curtain shop or old-fashioned hardware store - they'll probably have a box full of odd bits like this on a dusty shelf somewhere...

If you've got 5 of them that would be great.

Many Thanks,

Glad to be of assistance Pete. I'm sure we all keep many items in bottom drawers and in the hidden depths of our garages that we will never use, so it is great when they can be put to good use.

yeah but have you noticed how many bespoke parts tehre are in lego kits these days? its rubbish, gone are the days when you had to scour all your lego sets for a right piece, now all the kits come with one-off parts designed specifically for that one model and are pretty much useless for everything else.
