That first picture of the rear three quarter panel is frightening - imho that car is well and truly written off. I'd argue it isn't safe to put back on the road?
Why? A car is a collection of pieces bolted or welded together in the correct alignment. If damaged parts can be removed and new or s/h parts can be replaced in the same alignment, where is the problem? The rear 3/4 panel is exactly that - a panel.
Don`t forget that this car could also easily be re-shelled.

For those of you who don't get the joke
Wouldn't take on the pug though - french shite

I need to explain - over on GG I was trying to demonstrate that you could get relatively new cars cheaply through Auto Trader that were just out of warranty. I used the search facility and found this Rover for £890 which was described as having a few parking knocks in the tailgate, but other than that was a mechanically sound bargain...
...except that my computer didn't show up the pictures, and someone else's did.
Thing is, for the cost of a few panels from a scrapyard and a bit of work here and there, it would have been a decent little bargain.

sure that rear left quater panel thingy isn't actually a body "panel" at all (like the bumper and the boot etc) but a part of the monocoque? therefore the whole chassis is surely bent.
The pic link on the 206 doesn`t work, so here`s one from a 205

There you go then easy parts for under £60 quid dont see what you are complaining about, of course for the newer car it might cost a little more
