Anybody had any downtime through demon broadband of late? My connection died the night before last and again last night - fine in the morning.
Rebooted PC, rebooted router, nada. Was connecting OK, just not getting any packets returned...
Had this in Basingstoke.
Got through the whole support call thing. Then Demon tell me I need to try the line with another ADSL modem before they'll report it to BT!
Wasn't too happy - but it started working twenty minutes later...so never followed it up.
Hmmm, hopefully just issues with just one server farm.
Have to say it's the only downtime I've had in over 2 years with Demon, though.
We (two or three firms with different accounts, in the same building that I know of anyway)have had a few similar problems to that over the past few months, apparently they have been problem free for the 2 or 3 years before that though.
We were having problems with E7even, they just switch to a new nationwide thingy-mabob which involved changing the username to @bbuk; could be related?
