Yes it was very good, obviously a bit slow to start with but I guess they have to set the scene.

I guess they are entitled to the odd mistake, must be difficult getting totally original cars, anyway, it was a Zephyr6

Call me a train spotter but this series is based in 1973 and the dash in the Mk3 Cortina they drive is the flat facelifted model just prior to the Mk4 being released!

I love the way you noticed the 'later' security etching on the windows, but failed to notice 'Zephyr6' in big chrome italic letters on the bootlid, i'm no expert, I just read the badge

Yes, the correct dash would have been the sloping one like on a Victor SL or a Corvette or an Aston.

I hope there is an album released to go with the series, some top tunes tonight.

And now for the cars, utterly fan-bleedin-tastic stuff tonight. T

Who wasn’t impressed by the Mark 1 Granny Estate smoking along towards the end? A P6 stepping up and replacing the 75 after his accident. Was it an Alfa Gulia in the trailer for next week?

This is the best thing on the box in yonks, roll on next Monday
