You know: one which the designers didnt think:

"I know. Customers want lots of reallty cold water, or a dribble or really hot water. I can't imagine anyone wanting lots of hot water..."

Well I do. Replacing it with one from the tank with a pump is not an option at the moment, but is there a shower out there which can give me a nice amount of hot water?

More kw = more heat, it's easy to find high kw electric showers. However, it also means you ***should*** use a thicker cable from the consumer unit. You may also need to fit a larger ampage breaker.

I put a 10.5kw shower in my bathroom recently, I left the old cable which, I think, is techincally too slim but I am happy that it isn't getting hot. If you do this and burn your house down don't blame me!

I also had a to find a 60A breaker that would fit my archaic consumer unit which was a bit of a mission.

Have a look at this:

I left the 10mm cable even though I have a 10.5kw shower. Bit naughty but I stupidly didn't check before buying the shower and couldn't be bothered to rewire.
