A good friend of mine was a terror in school. He used to do ALL sorts.......One memory that remains was reading `KICKERS` from the face of another pupil who had been on the recieving end of a fly kick. We would also `borrow` someones schoolbag at breaktime and fill it with some of the most extraordinary items which was then placed back into position. Watching some poor beggar pull old muddy bricks, dead mice, empty crisp packets and soiled jotters was a real hoot. School really was the best time of my life...Perhaps I should get out more.....

Judging by the amount of topics you're posting at the moment i'd tend to agree.

Cheers,
Rob.

Pah! Filling bags, high kicks!

We used to put teachers cars on bricks. One time some chaps got a mini onto the school hall stage.

That were a Gramma Skool - where you get a right proper edukashun!

Fair enough, i re-read my post and it sounded not the way i intended really anyway, so sorry about that! In answer to your Q yeah i remember reading a Nike sign off someones back, i seriously regret being such a bully whilst in primary school. I generally hated Secondary school, only highlight was throwing flour over the deputy head, for which i got.... a week off school? How does that work!? Bonus!

Cheers,
Rob.

a particularly funny moment in school was when me and 3 chums managed to lock my headmaster in his office by putting 3 blocks of full lockers outside his door...

Even he saw the funny side of it eventually

Happy days..

My friend and I used to conduct "Dr Harrisons Amazing World of Dangerous Experiments" at the back of a science class.

This usually involved igniting various materials over a bunsen.

It was very popular and got quite a cult following.

I'm still amused by Neil Standon eating pages out of the hymn book in fifth year... reckoned once we'd sung the hymn in assembly that it was very unlikely that we'd be needing it again!

His brother was eating a brick!

Oh yeh, and Marcus Lambert-Boyton setting light to his blazer with lighter fuel during the official school photo was pretty cool too!

my school got the internet really early on cos theres a large computer company based there. So we got to muck about with it and generally knew more than the teachers, so for a laugh i changed the homepage proxy on the posh mac power PC to porn.com or something equally filthy this was very funny when people turned it on and rude things appeared. The funniest part was when HM inspectors turned up on the same day and the Librarian decided to show them the internet on the posh Mac power PC, needless to say they werent impressed and there was a witch hunt to catch the perpetrator, but he somehow was never caught and was talked of in hushed tones for many a year

The headmaster at our school was an evil Nazi of a man who looked like Adolf Hitler.

A bunch of six formers lifted the headmasters car (a Fiat 126) out of it's parking space, turned it over and put it back in the parking space upside down

RE Master marches into the room

RE Master: Today we're going to talk about sex

Reid: Sir! What would you like to know?

Economics master saunters in 40 minutes late for a 45 minute period

Economics [Northern Accent]: Ee, sorry I were late, had to make a 'phone call.

Happened every time!!!

More Economics: Open your books, I've got to go and take a piss

More Economics (after almost ANY answer from the room): Ah, Godfrey, don't be an idiot all yer life - take a day off!

Geography teacher in third form - waltzed into the room on the mark started writing on the blackboard. Once he'd finished filling the board he simply rubbed it all off and started over again. We gathered that he expected us to copy everything down. HE NEVER SPOKE A WORD ALL YEAR!

Chemistry Master (HUGE chap) would gather the smallest runts in the room get up on top of the benches and grab each of them round the neck: I'm a big OXYGEN atom and here are two HYDROGEN atoms - look how we naturally form water...SMACK two small boys with headaches!

(All boys grammer school remember) Latin Mistress - wore skirts to just above the knee sat down on a school desk with her feet on the chair in front - every class!

Now that is funny.

(I confess that the tales of bullying aren't in the least bit funny and the people who think they are should be ashamed)

Our common room had a bar in it for the Old Boys Association - Didn't take too long to figure out how to break in without leaving evidence.

Wednesday afternoons were never the same again...and the bus ride home could be a struggle!
