Hotmail and overactive spam filter

I've recently had a look in my hotmail junk folder and found a few emails that people from this site have sent me. It made me wonder how many I have missed because I don't check it very often. One of them was even from another hotmail address! If microsh*te doesn't even know that that isn't spam there is no hope.

I'm going to change my ph email address to my work one but just thought I'd bring this up in case anyone else is getting the same thing.

Happens regularly to me - I have to email clients & the ones on Hotmail tend to be the ones that never get my emails - why I dunno!

If another hotmail user has marked an e-mail from that person as junk then I think it gets applied to everyone as being junk.... Cue lots of people highlighting mails without really looking and flagging it as junk (I figure it then gets added to the spam list).

Hotmail is overzealous with this but then they've suffered significantly at the hands of spam for so long. Move to yahoo would be my advice. Its a much better web mail tool anyway.

Damn Hotmail! Sold something on Ebay and the woman is moaning that I never return her emails (although I think its her)

Gmail is much better for this, recommend using it. Anyone wants an invite PM me.
