Limewire and limewire pro, any real difference ?

I have been thinking about upgrading to the pro version but wondered if it really was any better, and what "turbo charged downloads" actually ment.

Anyone here upgraded ?

You could always search limewire for limewire pro + serial

Not a huge difference, claims to be faster but can't say I noticed it as limiting factor is connection speeds at both ends, however getting rid of the nag screens was a bonus.

I just had a thought, I was wondering if I could download the pro version on the basic version, had a look and it is available. Ha, love it scupperd by their own invention.

Free upgraqde, ( make sure you check it with blitz first there are a few dodgy ones )

Still wondered if anyone one else noticed a difference.

I downloaded the pro version using Limewire and the speed is just about the same as usual.

Speed seems to be about the same but you get a lot more chances of finding the item you are looking for or finding more sources of the same thing( therefore increasing the speed and likely hood of downloading the whole thing ).
