ie the non-personal contents of a 3 bed house.

Any idea on what sort of monthly cost?

A friend is moving shortly from a 3 bed house, probably average contents and quoted £500 to move it into storage + £35 per week storage + another £500 to move to next house when ready.

That`s her only quote so far though

I used to rent a unit to a removal firm for storage, I charged them £1 per square Metre (floorspace) per week, it was funny to see them try and stack it as high as possible.......

No idea on the moving costs though.

Have a locator and rate card online, which should give you a benchmark.

When you say Non personal, I assume you mean furniture. This can get expensive over more than a few weeks, If it's short term then maybe wrap everyting in cling film and find a garage, or if longer term sell your stuff and refurnish when you need to.
