(No this is not the weight I can lift)

What the hell would you do with all that if you won?
I mean really....

I always think when I hear people saying:

"ooooh a million pound win is too much - I would give half away" etc etc...

But 125 MILLION!!, I reckon if I was as extravegant as I possibly could be with this much I could get through 50Million, and this includes creating millionaires out of most of my family.

Imagine the fantasy garage......

[homer]mmm.......fantasy garage.....[/homer]

I'd have a whale of a time taking as many people as I could out of Blair/ Brown's pocket-lining system.

£100million is a decent amount.

I think with just £1m you'd struggle a little to have a decent lifestyle and never work again.

100mil you could buy your own island, run a private jet, own multiple homes, or a flash pad, all of which £1m wont let you do.

I would buy a small island, advertise it as a completely peaceful retreat with no cars, attract several thousand lentilists, then nuke it, whilst watching from my super airship filled with glamour models,a brewery operated by midgets made from solid gold, and the best steakhouse on earth where the waitresses are clones of anna kournikova, naked. Have i said too much?

If you had £100m pounds in old pound notes, and laid them end to end, they'd reach about 6,300 miles.

£100 million keeps you sorted for life, or until you get divorced...

Could easily spend that much though and have not a lot left to show for it when it all runs out.

I was chatting to a professional gambler last week - he pays his various taxes every month, normally to the tune of £30k-£50k each time. He has fun, indulges his friends but ultimately the inland revenue would clean him out inside of a few years if he stopped. Half the problem is that while he is a genuine self-made millionaire it is no longer enough to just have a few millions or even a few tens of millions tucked away. To make it big and really get that lifestyle you need that £100 million in the bank and more coming in all the time.

As for what I would do with it? Half of it in the bank/invested. Quarter to my immediate family and close relatives to get them sorted out. Eighth to charity and the rest as pocket money.

Maybe pay a friendly professional gambler to gamble with my pocket money....

If I had several Anna Kournikova clones and laid them end to end, I'd have a c**k like a blind cobbler's thumb.

Spend 100M? easy
after a decent house on every continent with state of the art garages for at least 6 super cars as daily drivers + several classics.
helicopter,
private race track with storage for all the race track specials I can think of,
small dingy say a Millenium super yacht 140 will do at a pinch!
win Kate winslet's heart with a huge diamond

Id say that would make a small dent and then id think some more stuff up or just ask PH what else to buy

You could even afford to have your own personalised break down truck following you at a discreet distance for when the inevitable happens..;-)

I'm not sure I'd bother with much property, other than investments, the best suites in worldwide hotels are only in the order of £3000 per night, at 6% flat you'd be earning £16500 per day in interest which would more than cover it. Having lived in hotels for over 2 years in the past I never got bored of it.

I would have a castle in the highlands of Scotland with seaplane access and shooting and fishing rights plus somewhere in Monaco to watch the GP.

Having got my £100Mill, I'd have thought that came free with the TVR. Others have had that thrown in FOC
