is officially jolly good fun.

Now I need recommendations for a decent online retailer of equipment? Anyone?

Burton (not the 80's high street retailer) Also for all round snow + ice gear the North Face is the boocks. I have used North Face clothing and tents in Norway,Pakistan, Switzerland and France in temps as low as -30 and found the kit to be hardwaring and comfortable.

If you like that and don't mind the loss of the odd bit of skin, have a look at these.... Check out the video links for some demos.

This is my store, its mainly snowboarding but we also have some AllTerrainBoards, FreeBoards and Kites in stock. I also said sometime last year that I'd offer a 10% PH discount if anyone wanted that is still open....

My mate at Adventure Sports 24/7 in Yeovil, Somerset is a retailer of fine Moutain Boards and related equipment.

Give him a call on 01935 415406 and mention my name and I'm sure he'll sort you out - he can handle any mail order and will price match - to a degree.

thanks for all your help guys. I had a real blast doing this over the weekend and my mate who owns the board reckons its good practice for snowboarding. I am keen to give that a whirl after having such a crack on the mountain boards.

Can anyone tell me whether its worth getting suspension? My mates board had softly sprung suspension which meant you had to be pretty gentle with your weight distribution or it was leant right over. Some of the other boarders had fixed trucks a la skateboard style. Any thoughts on whether its worth getting suspension or not to those more experienced?

I've bought stuff from John's store in the past. The guy serving at the time was really good. Really new his stuff. And the 10% PH discount doesn't hurt either! Recommended.
