Good, I don't trust him one bit.

I don't think he has made the right tactical decisions.

Furthermore his entire appointment has been a farce, the whole idea is to keep your head down and avoid the spotlight. As England manager you want someone like Sir Alf Ramsay, head down, no nonsense, of impecable character who will deliver results.

I think he's done quite an admirable job of that himself.

What is it with the press always dragging down our national team just before a major tournament? And to make matters worse, I've just realised I'm signed in as my girlfriend!!

Yes but until last week they could have had Bobby Robson in as a caretaker for the World Cup with his pick of the current bunch of English Managers as an assistant.
Bobby might be getting on a bit but he knows more about the game than Sven could ever hope to learn in 3 lifetimes.

As it stands, Sven may well cut & run when the press close in for the kill and we'll end up with Maclaren in charge and England playing like Middlesbrough.

But he ruled himself out. Too right too, how many months of managerial experience has he? In a few years time maybe...

Bizarre world when you can bring the job into disrepute by undermining the credibility of the game to ingratiate yourself for money and get paid off 2 years ahead of your contract expiring. I must try it with some of my clients.

He needs to see it through until after the world cup, then go.

I don't particularly like the guy, he's shady IMO. I hope he can help us to win the world cup but I won't feel a loss when he goes.

The other issue is the rediculous English press, again. Disruption being caused in the lead up to the biggest football tournament is a disgrace. Only in England, eh?

I love football but I absolutely despise certain aspects of it and the mad baggage it carries.

I wouldn't be surpised to see George Burley's name up there, especially if things go even more pear shaped at Southampton.

There's only one possible replacement for Chance the Gardener when he goes.

The man who currently has the best record in the whole of the football league. The man whose glorious team has been beaten only once in the league this eason. The man whose team boast the most goals scored and fewest goals conceded of any team in the division. The man whose team have remained undefeated away from home all season and who have been unbeaten in the league since the opening day of the season. The man whose team will finally ascend to their rightfull place at the top table next season. The man who is simply a footballing God and whose brilliance has wiped the Pardew reign of terror from the record books.

Steve Coppell.

I do find it a bit irksome that the scum working for the Red Tops can effectively hound someone out of their job, basically by nothing more than an elaborate scam.

However, more fool Sven for falling for it hook line and sinker. However good he is at his job (and thats a matter of opinion), the sheer naivety of the man beggars belief.

Maybe its a bit of a conspiracy? Svens had it with the British Press (well, certain parts of it), so seizes the chance to get an early ticket back to Ikealand? I've no idea.

He's spent relatively little.

I'm joking anyway. He's too good. We want to keep him for next seasons push towards Europe.
