Just had to drive back from my Sisters in a friggin squall! Must have had about 6 or 7 inches in a few hours. Ploughs nowhere to be seen, so had 30+ miles to tread carefully! Thank feck for awd!!!

Nice. Off walking from Fort William to Inverness tomorrow and hoping it will not be too bitterly cold every night.

the weather was really mild, around the 5 degrees mark during the day, no fresh snow all weekend but the temperature did drop very low overnight, there was also some heavy but brief rain overnight. we suffered becasue we didnt take the footprint for the tent and had just the groundsheet and a roll mat between us and the frozen ground. from inverness to fort william you should be ok during the day as its reasonably well protected froom the wind from Loch Lochy to Loch Ness but if you are in the valleys at night it will be cold!!
