I've noticed a huge difference between the daytime boys (and gals) and the evening names...is this because you lot do not have access to internet during the day or because you actually do some work?........the daytime crew seem to not post in the evenings....is this because they have a life ???????????? Please explain to this simpleton..

Uh this is my daytime, you'll find a lot of people post from work and have a life when they get home, especialy in IT you can do abit of web forums in between coffee breaks.

IMO teh innerweb is resposible for most IT related deadline misses...

Normally busy in the day, but the nights are good for settling down with a glass of wine and reading some biblical (sometimes literally) posts.

I post both times, but that's because I suffer from a terrible addiction.

I used to suffer from the same addiction

Posting in general has suffered since the Boy Fish came into my life

Were not allowed to use internet at work (except for work purposes).

Also not allowed to send personal emails either. They do get checked every now and then, and people have been pulled in and questioned over how many emails they have sent.

I do have a sneak look at the BBC news site and send a couple of emails each week. Would get a serious bg if I was on PH. Besides we are so busy at the moment we don't have time.

It was interesting being 6 hours behind last week in Florida panhandle. There is a marked difference between the daytime users and the evening users. There are a number of people around at both times JagLover for a start and a couple of others. There are also a number of people who sign into PH straight after the pub as well.

There is a tiny overlap between the day and night users sometimes but not always. Its interesting to note that most of the day users really do stop posting at around 430pm and by 5pm they are all gone. On a Friday its earlier.

The only wildcard that I remember seeing and who stuck out as a wildcard was JagLover I think. I ended up conlcuding he signs into PH on a PDA when hes not near a machine, although my second theory was that he didn't leave the office till between 6pm - 7pm and was back on at 8ish.

Anyway, this is all off the top of my head so I'll happily be proved wrong.
