One of the British national daily newspapers is asking readers "what it
means to be British?". Some of the emails are hilarious but this is one
from a chap in Switzerland ...
Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a
Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a
Turkish
kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows
on a
Japanese TV. And the most British thing of all? Suspicion of anything
foreign ".

Harsh, but true!

Or waking up thinking you were popular, and had loads of celebrity mates.

You'd be Scottish

i did most enjoy hearing about the campain for real lancashire informing Lancashire CC that they had x number of days to remove irronious signs claiming to be the lancashire border, or they'd do it for them....

and they did, and put the signs all together and told em where to pick em up from.

and erected new signs on the real borders of the Mersey, reclaimed 'Cumbria' 'Merseyside' Half of Todmorden, gave Barnoldswick back to Yorkshire...
