How about a gadget swap service.

A true gadget is cool for about 3 days. Rather than us blokes wasting money on a gadget then not being about to buy a new one as we're skint from the first one, how about a shop where you can PX your used gadget against another used one. That way we can have lots of new gadgets for as long as we want them.

Good idea or not?

Could do it like the P1 club - spend £100 a year on credits, get 2 days with a PDA / mobile / media player or whatever.

It could work!

Why would you want a PDA for 2 days? Takes several days at least to learn the features and transfer data onto it. And when you gave it back you'd have to wipe everything off it.

What, and let other people have all the pleasure of taking apart your gadgets? There's no fun in that - half the reason for buying new toys is to break them.

How about a wife swap? Women are sort of like gadgets.

Sorry, did someone say they have already got the perfect woman?
