Chris Harris - comedy genius

For those of you who don't get Autocar - I have to share this:
"Lumping a heavy chainsaw into the flatbed of a Navarra is like taking a Porsche 911 GT3 to the nurburgring or parking a Vauxhall Vectra in a dark car park with one's wife and waiting for similarly adventurous couples to approach. It is using a car in its intended role."
My how that made me laugh!

I think he's one of the best car journos writing today. Always enjoy reading his piece every week.
i thought he was good then i thought he seemed to try to be a bit too prosaic but over the last year i think i have to agree with you he has been churning out some very good pieces - it must be the country air..!
apart from obviously missing Bulgin, I think peter robinson has yet to be bettered from a factual point of view. Even though I don't agree with him a lot of the time i think i enjoy reading colin goodwin the most (he is the kind of anti-hero) but harris has been getting better and better. i don't know why but I have been appreciating the work of master hilton holloway recently too..
