Web purchases - making the postage cost worth while
Discussion
So you buy your £3 item from a cheap online store but the cost doubles when you add the postage so you have to make it worth your while and stock up on a few bits and pieces that you just don't need. Does anybody else do this? I think my worst spend has ended up being around a ton for £20 quids worth of stuff from Screwfix.

Amazon is a b*tch for that. "Spend another £20 to get FREE POSTAGE"... I should be happy with £2.99 postage but oh no... back to the shop and buy some more crap dvds...
Yep I've conned myself into that one too on Amazon, d'oh.
I get done on this by viking direct all the time, if not on free delivery over £30 then on some free bit of tat with every 5 reams of copier paper.
The deal always looks great to whoevers ordering until you actually realise that 'free' clock radio has cost £30 in unneeded paper
Oh well, top guys otherwise!

I was on ebay just yesterday and was amazed at the price of P&P on items such as CD's! Bloody ridiculous IMHO - usually marks the goods up to roughly the same as other stores, and so out of principal i go elsewhere as i do not like the iea of shelling out £3 for postage which actually costs 59 pence!
