Last night after work i filled the cab up at the regular fuel station, there is either a girl working or a bloke, who just happens to be as "gay as you like" after a brief chat with him and collecting my reciept i turned away to say.
"Night Darling" .. ,how the hell did that come out, what was i thinking

Anyone else for an embarrasing slip of the tongue.

In a recent email to a client of ours, an NHS Mental Health Trust, instead of signing off 'Kindest regards' I wrote 'Kindest retards'. I hope they don't read them too thoroughly.

I once got an agreement signed that had a rather amusing typo

"Double-counting" lost the "o" and became "Double-ting"

Oooops

Funniest one I've seen in my work:

Shitdown in 5 seconds.
Shitdown in 4 seconds.
Shitdown in 3 seconds.
Shitdown in 2 seconds.
Shitdown in 1 seconds.
Shitdown.

I once proofread a g/fs thesis at Uni, she made extensive quotes from someone called Cynthia something, but somehow had managed to configure her autocorrect in Word to correct it to Cunthia.

I'm sure there's something going on in your subconscious for this to have happened. Chances are that you're a little bit gay, and this "knee-jerk" (subliminal) response was simply coming from the part of your brain which you try and keep hidden.

Only this morning, I meant to say, to my wife "Thank you for the tea and toast dear" and what actually came out was "How did I manage to wind up with an ugly old mare like you".

Terrible when it happens!!

In my youth as a student apprentice, one task we had to do during training was to host a formal dinner for some bigwigs in the (rather large) company. My little part in the proceedings was to announce said bigwigs as they arrived.

The biggest bigwig we were expecting duly arrived.
Quick check it was the right guy ("Bill Campbell" - check) and I proudly announced in my best parade ground voice:

"Ladies and gentlemen, Don Campbell"

Him: "That would be tricky, he's been dead since 1967"

D'oh!

My Mum & her best mate often make appointments to have their hair cut together. My Mum often recalls with glee the time her mate asked for "a cut and blowjob."

One of my colleagues once sent a letter out headed "WITH PREJUDICE".

Only way to deal with this is to confidently carry on as if you meant it. Next time he is on may I suggest a Uniform and large moustache............... that should do the trick.

I once said c*nt during a lecture I was delivering on Walker Evans and Robert Frank. No one flinched. Neither did I.

Said to a group of students on my first day with them that their head of course was 'delicious'. I said, "Oh my word! I don't know where that came from." We all laughed about it because delicious is probably the last word that anyone would use to describe him.
