Our company have been asked to make a series of programmes for ITV to be broadcast during the run up to the 2006 World Cup about England and their rivals, Scotland, France and Germany.

Want we want is your memories of any games where England played against one of these countries. They could be whether you were actually at the match or what you were doing when for example, England beat Germany 5-1. Or even if you know anybody who was at the '66 world cup!!!

The best memories will have the chance to be on television, so please email englandfans@themediagroup.tv with your memories!

For the record, I watched the 5-1 victory at a mates house, with around 12 other people.... including a German teacher. When the fifth goal went in, one of my mates who could do with appearing on "You are what you eat" danced in front of the TV singing "Let's all laugh at Germans, Let's all laugh at Germans.. la la la la..... la la la la!"

I had a tenner on Germany to score first and England to win 3-1. I was well chuffed at half-time, but gutted when England went on to score another 2 goals.

My father was at the final in 1966; he may even still have the ticket stubs!

I'm pretty sure he was there with a German client/prospect. He's still alive, if you're interested. Whether or not he would be I've no idea.

I was in Dallas for the 5-1 Germany game, got up ealy had Breakfast at the Londoner pub with another hundred or so expats, watched the game with plenty of beer and frolics, we were so happy we all traipsed off to the nearest strip club when they opened, now that was a grand (£££ day out

I really don't watch football but...

I was staying at a heathrow airport hotel for the '5-1' and the hotel prepared a conference room with a massive screen and loads of seating and a bar etc, and there were loads of Germans there!

The Germans all crammed in first and took up 80% of the seating and the Brits sheepishly took the standing area at the back (near the bar and the exit)and waited for the inevitable beating.

I have never enjoyed a football game as much in my life! I really should have bribed the security staff for a copy of the CCTV footage of that room!
