if you could be anybody for the day (living, dead, fictional, real), who would you be?

and if you could hang out with anyone for just one day, who would it be?

for myself, i think id like to be sherlock Holmes. that, or shakiras bra.

and id like to hang out with Dennis Leary (though I'm torn between that and Jamie oliver, and then i could punch him in the face every time he thought about speaking).

i'd like to be Natalie Imbruglias lufer....

failing that i would hang around with Pete Docherty wearing a "I'm with this prick" T Shirt and beat him with a baseball bat every time he mentioned drugs.....that would keep me fit

Too many to choose from. Who would I want to be for a day? I reckon Mick Jagger in the 60s - get up, do rock star stuff, do a gig, then do lots and lots more rock star stuff.

James Bond is tempting, but it could be a day when he's just following some geezer around.

As for hanging around with, Dennis Leary's a good shout. Eric Morecambe would be good, but I think the winner is Jack Nicholson.

Basically the day is going to involve girls and all sorts of unhealthy stuff. Oh, and I want to hang out the back of Sophia Loren - just the most amazing woman.

Tony Blair.

So that I could tell the world what I think of him, but through him, as it were

"The fact is" pauses, looks concerned, furrow brow "I was a bit of a tt to invade Iraq after all"

sorry, cant not do it.

Ernie is already in bed reading the paper whilst Eric stands at the window. a fire engine flashes past sirens blaring.

Eric:'hes not going to sell many ice creams going at that speed'.

Ernie: 'are you going to stop messing about and come to bed?'.

Eric gets in to bed with his dressing gown on.

Ernie: 'you're not going to sleep in that are you? you'll have sciatica in the morning'.

Eric: 'no i wont. ill have cornflakes like i always do'.

If I could be anyone, right now, I'd love to know what it was like to be Douglas Bader, flying a Hurricane over London in the Battle of Britain.

If I could hang out with someone, it would be Rowan Atkinson. I'd just like to thank him for getting me interested in cars.

nice.

did you ever see that programme about Bader, where they interviewed his batman? apparently, Bader was so cruel to him, and repeatedly refused to let him leave when the Germans acquiesced to release some prisoners, that he when he finally got out, he nicked his 'best legs'. i just love the idea of having some smart/ formal legs.

Hang out with? Oliver Reed, Keith Moon & Richard Harris. Just one night down the pub would do.
