Yep its a tad cold, ime working on my car out the front,to keep warm i pop indoors now and then for a cuppa.
loads of thin layers keep me warm.
If you keep your back warm and wear a wooly hat then that should give you a "warm blood flow" and so keep your feet warm

I read somewhere that most of the bodies heat is lost through the top of the head, so consider wearing a baraclava or something.

try the two pairs of socks, but go down to blacks / millets and get yourself a pair of insulated hiking boots!

ive got brasher hill masters and whilst they are nice they would offer bugger all protection if anything fell on them.

what you need are some fur lined snow of moon boots pref in a non homosexual colour. Millets and blacks stock both these and they range from 19.99 to 29.99 dependant on if they have a waterproof lining.

A pair of fabric or leather non breatheable boots with a decent pair of socks would also keep your feet warm, but they would also cause you to sweat a plenty.

It most certainly is.

I've just replaced the starter motor on one of the Minis with the garage door wide open.

I now have extremely cold testacles.

Incidentally, does anyone know where Mr Issigonis is interred?

I intend to exhume him so that I can slap him across the face for designing the front panel in such a way that the starter motor bottom bolt can only be turned one flat at a time.
