From the Timaru Herald:

'A British man who tried to sue the local council after soiling his own trousers has made it onto a list of the most spurioous compensation claims.

The man blamed the embarassing accident on the council's decision to close a public lavatory at the bus station, and claimed he was owed the cost of a new pair of trousers.

The bizarre claim was among thousands of public liability claims which cost local government and insurance firms an estimated £250M per year.

Leading public sector insurer Zurich Municipal said many claimants are genuine but exaggerated and spurious claims are an increasing problem.

The firm compiled a list of other ludicrous claims including a bin man who made a claim against his council after being "startled" by a dead badger which fell out of a bag.'

Man some of these no-life rejects really have nothing better to do do they. What's wrong with getting a job?

edit: I'm talking about the man in the story, not simpo two. Maybe simpo two should get a job too though?

The guy sort of has a point though. If there's no public toilets around and you need to go, what do you do? If you just use a wall the way men can do, you get fined for it...

To the tune of "All people that on earth do dwell"
(the Old 100th by to Louis Borgeois circa 1550)

As I was walking through a wood,
I shat myself I knew I would.
I cried for help, but no help came.
And, so I shat myself again
