Rabbit just keeps growing

A man stunned onlookers at a agriculture fair in Berlin when he brought his 22lb rabbit along.

Passers-by thought Hans Wagner had a large cuddly toy with him and were shocked when they discovered the 3ft 1in rabbit was real.

Herman is one of a breed called the German Giant reports the Daily Mail.

A spokesman from the German Rabbit Breeders' Association said: "They are good-natured, reliable and calm. They are, however, because of their size, not very suitable for children."

Most German Giants reach between 16lb and 18lb. But Herman - who eats more than 1lb of food a day - has just kept growing.

He lives in a specially-constructed hutch made of solid oak.

Edited to add... I never knew there was a breed of giant rabbits... you learn something new everyday

No wonder they wouldn't be any good as a kids pet. Can you imagine having to clean out that buggers hutch

I did a few searches of google video for child and rabbit etc. There are some sick people out there.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-31473139644 - Not save for work its a bit fecking weird - but proof a large rabbit wearing a condom on his head can over power a women (suffering from heat exhaustion)
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=472402607379 - small children celebrating killing a giant bunny by wearing it and doing a victory dance.
Clear evidence bunnies are evil - www.landoverbaptist.org/news0404/easter.html
