I think being a gay professional sportsmen must be very difficult indeed. If Sol is gay then he should at least be allowed to tell us in his own time, not outed by the gutter press.

There was a footballer called Justin Fashanu who had a bad time of it ,which i think was attributed to being gay,he ended up commiting suicide.
Its just sad and shallow when some ones sexuality affects the way they are viewed by others.
Should it be taken into account,IMO i dont think so.

I prefer gay Justin to cheekbone-breaking-elbow-flailer John.

Yes very sad and an example of how two brothers could end up taking two different paths in life.

I don't understand...
OK with who? I really fail to see the correlation between what you like to do with your own meat and two veg, behind closed doors - and what you do for a living.

Sexual preference is exactly that.... PREFERENCE.

Who cares, live and let live...

Took the club from basement level old 4th division to where they are now. Certainly hasn't (if the rumour were true) affected his ability as a manager.

He's a top bloke. Whether he was gay or not, doesn't and hasn't made a jot of difference.
