Animal Winter Olympics on BBC1

[grass widow]

Anyone watching this, pitching all the different animals that live in a cold climate against each other in speed skating, cross country ski-ing, and downhill ski-ing plus other things.

Penguins, polar bears, reindeer and humans are all competing.

Learning and fun all in one, loved this when they did the summer olympics last year I think it was.

What HAVE you been drinking...?

This is exactly the kind of low-brow rubbish passed off as factual programming that I really hate.

But its a bit of fun, and gets the kids interested.

MBH not been drinking I'm afraid.

Quite glad Motty doesn't narate 'The Natural World' I must admit

Quite enjoyable (for the kids) but spoilt by the compulsary "Enviro" warning at the end, as if the whole program was a set up for that I'm afraid.........
