Anyone else read this marvellous publication?

I'm a big fan of the Jimmy Carr entry.

Reading it at the moment. The Tony Bliar entry is also rather amusing.

A book called, "Is It Just Me, Or Is Everything Shit?" by a couple of part-time comedians. Some decent entries and some funny stuff, but glad I got it as an Xmas present and didn't spend my own money on it, put it that way.

For a much better (albeit slightly different) rant about today's society, check out Lynne Truss's "Talk to the Hand: The Utter Bloody Rudeness of Everyday Life". The more people that read this book, the better.

All the reviews I read said it was rubbish, so I avoided it on my christmas shopping list. I suppose its like anything though, isn't it - one person thinks it rocks, another thinks it bombs!

I bought this and thought it would be a laugh, but was sorely disappointed. Whilst it had some funny entries, the majority of the ones that I read just seemed to be someones opinion rather than a satirical take on life. It came across to me as two blokes massaging their ego's and taking the piss out of people, based on one or two people once saying that they were funny.....

I have the "talk to the hand" book so may give that one a go instead.

I got that for Xmas and the "Talk to the Hand one".
I also got the Gripes of Wrath, it's much better and backs it's info up with sources etc.
It will definately have you ranting randomly at people.
I blame it on PH myself....
