Just been doing some plumbing, and I noticed that I have a braided hose going from the main bathroom pipe to the toilet cistern! There's no branding so I am considering replacing it with a Goodridge one...

Refilled it with DOT 5.1 water, much better feel to the flush now

Fortunately no fading on repeated flushing either!

Don't forget to go up in size from a #6 to a #8..you will fill much quicker and as we all know...

Speed matters

While your at it, also raise your cold water tank as you will get better head

I'm considering fitting an intercooler to keep the charge temperature low - extended flush times with no penalty if it's a warm day outside!

Brings a whole new meaning to "logging on" too.
