I need a simple phrase translated into Latin so it can be incorporated into our new football club badge.

I need it to say "Eight yards by eight foot" can anyone help?

Did a Google, Came up with this site and a result for your phrase was:

"Duodeviginti yards per duodeviginti pes"

I know duodeviginti is 8, by in per and foot as in your feet is pes, probably not the foot you're looking for!!! Not a clue about yard though.

duodeviginti "yards" per duodeviginti "pes"

No, it's 18.

You could try:

"OCTO PASSUS ET OCTO PEDES"

Or more colloquially:

"OCTO PASSUS PEDESQUE"

Latin didn't have lower case, so CAPS it has to be

Finally, I reckon:

"VIII PASSUS A VIII PEDIBUS"

That's more like "8 yards from 8 feet"; I'd go with your earlier suggestions.

Hmmm, the ablative can be rather ambiguous, so I might agree with you there. But I'd still use the numerals VIII rather than the word OCTO.

Sounds rather like OXO...

I hate to pedantic (Latin can be very pedantic) but there are 5 pes to each passus so your goal will be too long.
