Paint colours/codes - industry standard?

I need to get a couple of cans of spray paint tomorrow, a standard non-metallic black and what Gilera describe as "894 Red Dragon"...
So I'm guessing 894 is the paint colour code, but will this be an internal gilera code or is it some kind of industry standard? I.e. will the guy know what I'm talking about or will it be pot luck of getting the right colour?
