Tumour victim given massive overdose
Discussion
Well, the NHS has starred this time.....a young girl from Scotalnd who is suffering from a brain tumour has been given 17 (yes seventeen) sessions of radio/chemo-therapy at a massively over prescribed dose....maybe once or twice could be classed as an oversight, but 17!!!! The health authority people has admitted liability, but they cannot say if she is likely to live or just remain burnt and paralysed......
I probably have not described the story very well, so a link may be better, but I'm livid to see this shit happening

Does no-one check the calculations before treatment starts?
Apparently, the doseage was worked out before the first session and the same amount of overdose was given each session.
It is negligence in the extreme - the poor child and her parents must be devastated, to be given the all-clear and then this news.
