I set up a website ages ago, www.weddingdelight.co.uk, with the intention of building it up to be a thriving site, but with having sprog, I've never had time.

I now have a little more spare time on my hands and would like to get it up and running.

To get businesses listed, I could contact them all, and offer them either free or paid adverts, which was my original intention, but that way, any turkey could join.

What I want to do to get it started, is put companies on based on recommendation. Therefore, if you would be gracious enough to share your tales, that would be lovely

You can either post them here, or e-mail me thorugh my profile, but basically, I need the name of the company, any contact details you know of, plus a little on why you recommend them (e.g. good price, friendly service etc, doesnt need to be an essay unless you wany! )

Also, if you have any wedding tips, that would be luverly

I am presuming there arent any legalities holding me back here? Everything put on will be positive, so it wont be slander, and it is free advertising for the company, and I suppose its no different to someone posting it on somewhere like Ciao.co.uk where you can write anything!

I got married at Preston Hall, which is a museum in Preston Park. Due to its location, there are always lots of members of the public around. ON the day of our wedding there were 2 little old dears on the bench outside - I kid you not, they go every saturday with sandwiches to sit and watch the weddings!
