I was just walking down the road to get my sandwich and I saw a sign saying a dozen red roses from £39.95

Don't worry, I haven't gone all romantic, but that's a lot of money. Bloody heck, you could get her some dead nice shreddies for that much. Is it any wonder blokes don't buy flowers for Valentines Day?

Tescos. Knocking them out for £18.

Don't worry I got a bolloxing last night for saying that Valentines day was "a load of old shite and not worth celebrating"

I said this to my lady (this is our first valentines together) and she agreed! End of conversation!

Cheaper still from the the 24hr petrol station on the way home...

Get a better deal on the ones that are going brown on the edges, just remember to put something in the car so you can give'um a trim..

Thanks, you just reminded me to order some. Much against my better judgement, but I've grown quite attached to my testicles over the years...

She may have said that but I'd gamble on her moaning to her mates if you don't get her anything, and you getting a little reward if you do.
Red are so last year 20 in yellow..... £18 all in...

Nooooooooooooo! don't fall for that! Its the oldest trick in the book.
Buy her something or you WILL die! (or you may just prefer death when she's finished punishing you!)

Please, take my advice. I made the same mistake once :sob:

That's nothing, M&S are banging out the one's on their advert, you know the ones...
'These aren't just roses, they're long stemmed, velvet petal grand Prix Roses'.....

These aren't just roses.....too bloody right they're not, they are 70 bloody quid a shot roses!!! Gordon Bennett - you buy a set of those, what does herself think you'll be expecting in return??????

And you'd probably be right as well...

I'm not actually buying my wife flowers per se. I'm cooking her a delicious and nutritious Hemlock Soup.

Damn I hate those adverts. 'They're not just adverts, they're fecking annoying, tedious, unimaginative, predictable adverts'. I usually get to the remote within 2 seconds.
