I watched the film Layercake last night, starring in it was Daniel Craig who is the new James Bond,
Just wondered what the general concensus was,
Will he be a:
Good 007 (a Sean Connery) or a
Bad 007 (a George Lazenby)?

I will NOT be watching a Daniel Craig Bond film. He is more wrong than Dalton in my opinion

What?! Dalton was THE Bond for me. Moody and sinister. They're my favourite Bond films.

Daniel Craig is also an excellent actor and I, for one, cannot wait to see him in the role.

Craig will be fantastic. Give him a shot, I thought Brosnan would be awful, but he was pretty good... The films were pretty gash, but as a band he was alright. Crai will be a bit more hardhitting, and a bit more raw, methinks.

Speaking as a truly hetrosexual male here, I'd kill to look as fine as he does!

I think the problem with his character in Layer Cake was that it made him the 'wimp' of the bunch - whereas now knowing he is the new bond you half expected him to pull a snazzy gadget out of his pocket and beat the enemy without breaking sweat.

I will be interested to see how he gets on as bond...

Yea, i think he'll be good.

Heard that Clive Owen was first choice, but turned it down because he thought noone would be as good a Sean.

Shame, think Clive is our best British actor.

You're in luck - I gather they've cast Roy "Chubby" Brown
as lead villian in the next production.

If that's true, then I definitely won't be seeing it. I can't stand that man.

Only joshing....I'd just assumed if the lean-and-hungry look didn't do it for you, then the opposite might apply

I'm not sure he can act though. If he can, then you're definitely on to a winner there!
