That does indeed appear to be very cool. Does it say how much it costs anywhere though?

I know what it costs - full price is around 15k (Nasa, Boeing etc have them) however they may be availble soon in the UK for around £4k.

£4K, I take its thats the 16" one?

In fact, i'd be suprised if they could bring that into the UK for £4K, on componentry alone thats leaving them next to no margin...

Someone has been to see the film 'The Minority Report' then. Very cool.

That globe is stunning.

The globe is actually far better in the flesh so to speak than in the videos on their website.

I have seen it and it does all kinds of stuff from live depictions of the weather, to replays of storms and hurricanes, to draining all the water from the oceans to show the topography of the sea floor, to winding backwards and forwards in time to show continental drift and plate tectonics. It can also show all the other planets of the solar system and the major moons.

Brilliant stuff.
