Tumble drying vs spin drying......doh!

Errr help me out here chaps and chapesses
Is tumble drying like spin drying
More to the point if the label on the garment says Do Not Tumble Dry can I stick it the washer/dryer that spin dries?????

Tumble dryer uses heat.

Spin dryer, or rather the spin cycle just uses centrafugal force to squeze water out.

if its a washer/dryer it'll have a drying cycle, probably condenser/heat based as well as a spin cycle.

To answer the Q. If it says no tumble drying then YES, you can spin dry it but that's all!!!

or just hanfg it on a radiator and be done with it. or am I missing something?

I've got loads of "no tumble dry" clothes which get bunged in the tumble dryer each week. If it looks like it can take it then go for it, just be careful and check it regularly. I reckon loads of manufacturs put it on their clothes because they simply can't be bothered to check if it ruins the clothes or not, or possibly because if you leave it half an hour too long which many people will it'll shrink.

Pop it in but be careful would be my advice. Then again, would you take advice on this from a man who doesn't own an iron?
