New Music

Alloooo all
My sister is in a band called Escari and they have a My Space account with a few of their tracks on.
Anyway I was hoping the greatest community in the world would cast their over it and maybe post a few comments either on here or on their site.

Must agree with all the above comments. Its refreshing to hear new music that hasn't sampled something or other. Very nicely crafted songs, particulaly like Sail Away. Hope it goes well for them.

Sounds good, I imagine they would be good live.

To my untrained ear they sound on a par with my brother band who are in negotiation with a couple of the major labels at the moment.

Hmmm, not convinced about the mixes personally. Her voice is quite muted, with a fair amount of fx. A vocalist should lead the music, not sing along with it.

Its on all tracks, so I can only presume they were mixed by the one person. Sounds quite unnatural to me. Sorry to be so negative, but you did ask.

What are you listening on? i am on my laptop speakers at the mo and it sounds a little muted to me (vox that is), I can't confirm just now but i think the Vox are panned hard left and reverb return hard right.


Songs seem nice though.
Will get a better listen when i go back to the studio.

Know very little about these things but liked the music although 100% agree that they could use some work on the production sounds of life as her voice can be a tad hard to decipher.
