Beer In the City....Thursday...Dirty Dicks....6.30pm onwards

That's all there is to say really. I'm meeting up with Harry & Bedford on Thursday for a post work beer with an option on a curry. And anyone else who wants to wander along is more than welcome. There was some keen beer drinking interest on the UBS/ DB thread so I thought I'd thow out an open invite to come for a pint.
DD is a pub opposite Liverpool Street station for those who don't know it. It has an upstairs bar where I suggest we meet ( less smokey than downstairs. ) If you're looking for me there's a pic of me in my profile. Ugly bugger, broken nose, scar on my forehead. ;-)
If you can't make it, just say, and come along next time, there doesn't seem to be a regular drink up for city PH'ers, but there seem to be quite a few of us, so I'm thinking 4th Thursday in the Month, DD 6.30pm onwards, turn up if you fancy. That I'm afraid is the full extent of my organisational skills.

Mods I'm guessing that you'll want to move this post into the London area of PH ( same as the Reading 'Pie No Tie' sits in the Thames Valley section) , but can you leave it in the P&P for a few days as I know that a few of the chaps who are/ might be interested don't tend to look in there.....would be much appreciated

... also many "London drinkers" are not actually Londoners, they just drag themselves into the smoke to work occasionally 
Also, us Londoners are a lazy bunch and rarely look in the London area.
Can't do Thursday unfortunately.
Last time I went to Dirty Dicks was with my father about 5 years ago. We stood in a spot quite near the door...
Dad: "I was in here the night before I married your mother"
Me: "Really?"
Dad: "Yes, I got absolutely sh*tfaced, and phoned her from a pay phone that used to be about here (pointing to the wall next to us)"
Me: "You got sh*tfaced the night before your wedding?"
Dad: "Yes. After I phoned her and told her drunkenly that I loved her, I was sick all over the floor - pretty much where you're standing"
Me: "That's nice"

i gather that after hearing this news, the City is planning a day out to the country .....
Not all the city, just the females in the liverpool st station area...
Is this one going to be as drunken as the Pre Lemans drinks that started near Liverpool st station last year?? I have vauge memories before the beer scooter kicked in and took me home.... the following day at work was eventful, but at least I didn't sleep in my suit like some and could see far enough to know there was only one train at the station and not several....
