Hopefully the title has your attention!

I know this might seem a little cheeky but if you don't ask you never get.....

It's my girlfriends birthday in three weeks time and I'm planning a special trip out(no, not the oxo tower). I'm taking her to a posh hotel to be pampered for the day, then we're going for a romantic picnic where I'll give her presents to her.

Now, being the good girl that she is, my girlfriend absolutely loves TVRs (especially Tuscans). So far she hasn't ridden in anything more exotic than my brother's ST24 and I was hoping that there might be a PHer in the Newcastle/Morpeth area who would like to have an excuse to go for a lovely country drive and deliver her to the hotel in style.

Normally I wouldn't go to quite such extreme measures to ensure she has a great day, but as I'll also be proposing to her, anything that puts her in a "yes" sort of mood can only be a good thing! She will be completely unaware of what will be going on as we're off to New York for the New Year and I think she's expecting me to pop the question there so this would be an awesome surprise.

As I'll be blowing most all of my budget on the hotel and ring, gratuity payment will be limited to beer and pies. So is the allure of having a beautiful young women in your passenger seat for half an hour or so enough for some kind-hearted soul to help me out?

Pleeeeeeeeease!?

Hmm..

So you're asking for someone with a top end Tiv to take your beloved, who loves Tivs, for a blast round the empty, twisty roads of the North East, and you're expecting her to come back??? laugh

Cheers for the kind thoughts! She's had to put with a bit of frustration in the leading-a-normal-life department because of me and it's now time to turn things around!

I'd do it, but I don't own a TVR or a live near Newcastle.

Top Trumps for asking though, hopefully someone with a few hours to spare will help you out.

I'd do it too, but am similarly TVRless. Obviously.

I may have missed the point (it happens..... a lot)....

But wouldn't she be more impressed if YOU turned up driving the TVR (plus you'd both get the fun)...

These guys will do you a TVR for £180 for a day:

I had a Boxster off them for a day as a sort of indulgent test drive before placing my order for one and they seemed a decent outfit. No affiliation etc.
