Instruction manual for a Humax hard drive recorder. Plot is a bit sketchy I have to say.

finished HP yesterday - was as good as the others - so well written entertaining kids yarn that isn't too young or too up itself. Enjoyed all of them. Not exactly a wonder of literature but much better than half of the 'top hundred books you MUST read' lists...
currently on the go....Jane Ayre (again); Reapers Gale by Steven Erikson...superb series; The Rock Says, by The Rock; and Miffy at the Zoo - though the emotional complexities of the sub narrative are almost too much to bear.

No Country for Old Men, Cormac McCarthy. A very violent cat-and-mouse modern day western.

Richard Morgan - The Black Man.
Not currently thinking it's as good as his previous efforts, but there's still plenty of pages left to turn it around in.

Just finishing that on off - arguments get a lot weaker as the book goes on though.

Just finished Peter Kay's autobiography. Really enjoyable (and had me randomly laughing out loud on planes) but finished JUST when he won NW Comedian of the Year 1996....I was waiting for the good bits afterwards, grumble grumble. I expect a book number 2 soon, then biggrin

Man Walks Into a Pub - Pete Brown.
I read Three Sheets to the Wind first (so arse about face, but it doesn't actually matter!).
