This Lego fire station complete with fire engines:

My little boy who is 3 and a half has discovered that "proper" Lego is better than his Duplo, because in a flurry of bricks Daddy can rustle up most things. When Daddy said he had a Lego fire station he wanted me to build it so having gone through a mass of random bricks to find the right bits, and instructions found on the internet I have come up with the goods.

You just "happened" to find your lego did you. After all this time.

I put it to the court that the accused does in fact still play with his lego and that his child is just an excuse....

How do you plead?

I remember when you needed imagination to have Lego. Stuff didn't look like it should and a "car" was made of square bricks with some wheels on - Take the wheels off and add a roof and it became a house etc....

And I'm only 37.

The only non-brick-like bits were wheels. Usually missing a tyre or railway wheels. Lego pieces were white, red or blue. No lego people or trees'n'sh1t in my day laddie...

Anyone else used to be into Linka?

You got a pack of rubber moulds that you poured plaster of paris into and then built houses, stations all sorts.

Oooh, just found a linky http://www.linkaworld.com/

What really annoys me about Lego is that they didn't release Lego Star Wars until I was a teenager. As everyone here will know, making an X Wing or Tie fighter with regular Lego is impossible. Still, never too old to start, I just need a kid so I have an excuse..............
