Family Guy, a show aimed at adults, shown on BBC3 at a time no kid should be watching tv and the BBC are censoring it!
Just seen the dog get awarded a golden penis for making porno and the BBC blurred out the image of the award! MAdness, where will it end?!

Is that the BBC blurring it or is it from the original US version that the BBC have bought?
It will be the version that the BBC have bought, i.e. on the US transmission masters. The blurring is not being done by the BBC.
If you want to see ridiculous censorship, look no further than the Simpsons on Channel 4. It is heavily cut, and whenever they have shown Futurama they have always cut Bender's line "Bite my shiny metal ass".
15 years ago "censorship" and "Channel 4" wouldn't belong in the same sentence. How times have changed...
I thought it was blurred to parody a US news report of a pornography ward, highlighting the hypocrisy prevalent in reporting on such an event during mainstream news (we want dirt) and then censoring the content to appease small town mentalities (but not that much dirt!). Or something.

I'm sure the almighty sage one, Beford Rascal, will forgive me for not having known that
