That site is almost unreadable - utter nonsense.

I gave up when I noticed they couldn't tell the difference between 'win' and 'won'!

He looks to be behind because he opted to do another stroke whilst Cavic drifted in to the finish. Think how quickly he pulled his arms around compared to Cavic just drifting motionless. I believe he got it, and in any case even if it was a fix he still got 7 Golds in 1 games. Thats something we'll likely never see again in our lifetimes.

Did you notice though how they didn't show an underwater shot on the replay after? From the birds-eye view I reckon the decision looked very dodgy.

Well, I've just read all that and ir doesn't seem to prove anything. That freeze frame doesn't show either man touching the wall, so proves nothing. As for all that stuff about Omega timing the race and sponsoring Phelps - that reads like just another internet conspiracy theory for 15 year olds to be honest. A list of incredibly weak evidence back up by a pointless photograph scratchchin

Why not, I've seen it happen twice now. Remember Mark Spitz?

Is this a common line of thought? I can't say i watched the race or much of the swimming in general. Is it just a couple of nutjobs or is it being taken seriously?

Im sorry, but if youre not interested in history being made then you need to, you dont have to like the event or even sport but you have to appreciate the achievement - drugs assisted or not...

It wasted your time skipping past a .gif? You must be pretty slow of reading comprehension then.

The truth is clearly there to be seen. Phelps won. Although Cavics arms are outstretched he isn't touching the pool wall. Phelps is clearly ahead of Cavic as you can clearly see from the photo below, in terms od whole body position. Cavic stretched but failed, Phelps powered in to hit the sensor. The electrons dont lie.

Fekin conspirosy theorists should all be drowned in the pool quite frankly. Put us out of their misory.
